Bondax have a new album in the works after a lengthy hiatus

Words by Josh Pavlou

UK electronic music duo, Bondax, have returned from the shadows of a three-year production hiatus with some great news for their fans.

The Lancaster lads have teased their hotly anticipated debut record with it’s first single, ‘Neo Seoul’. A funky baseline forms the foundation of the track, while strong disco and soul undertones permeate some serious 80’s nostalgia. ‘Neo Seoul’ is in equal parts cathartic and danceable…an unlikely but effective combination.

Adam and George of Bondax even suggest “it’s the most club-oriented track we’ve ever made”.

Accompanying this dreamy banger is an equally sublime music video, shot in the South Korean city which is also the songs namesake. The video uses footage from Bondax’s touring days in Seoul last year.

The British genre-benders suggest their latest single is one of contrasting elements. The lads were “originally inspired by our own memories of touring Asia, but the track truly came into being when we returned from a brief visit to Uganda.”

Every great new track deserves a world tour right? Catch Bondax at one of their dates around the globe here and listen out for new music in 2018.
