Something Else Record Store is the newest member of the Sydney wax family, and has officially opened to the public today.

Run by party promoter duo Dave Stuart andAlex Dimitröff, the store was a fairly spontaneous venture but ticks off a major box for Stuart who admits he has meddled with the idea of running his own record store for some time now.

We ventured along to their Newtown shopfront today to check it out first hand and grab some snaps. If finely curated house and techno is your thing, be sure to check it out at 488 King St.
