Antony & Cleopatra list their top 5 slow jams of the year

Britain-via-Australia duo Antony & Cleopatra have had a big 2017. The eclectic two-piece have astounded listeners with their sultry, electronica in the way of huge tracks such as ‘Dust’ and their incredible collaboration with Motez, ‘The Future’.

Following their stacked tour for Alison Wonderland’s Scarehouse Project that wrapped up on the weekend, the pair will be taking to Bondi’s Sosueme stage this Wednesday night for a FREE show. We caught up with Antony & Cleopatra to pick their brains ahead of the show on the topic of 2017’s smoothest slow jams to get you in the mood.

From Sampha to Kelela, their selections will certainly get you in the right mood for a Tuesday afternoon. Dive in below.

1. Sampha – Under
Beautiful slow jam for mega late/early nights after the afterparty

2. Klein – With U feat. Kahila Bakosi
We’re obsessed with this fellow London singer/ producer. This song in particular had us from the distorted brass and her deep alto tone.

3. The xx – Test Me
Fantastic end of album closer from The xx who really represent late London nights.

4. Flight Facilities – Stranded feat. Broods, Reggie Watts and Saro
Stunning three vocalled epic song that’s worth hanging on to.

5. Kelela – LMK
Classic Kelela vocals on this track and we love the early noughties references to synthetic weaves and cut out tops in the video.

Some luscious selections from the up-rising duo. Be sure to give their latest offering ‘Twitch’ a spin below while we have you and follow their socials for updates.
