A fresh, summery tune comes our way straight from the Gold Coast, courtesy of Wongo. If the idea of this track was to try and convince you that your sipping a cold one on a beach, then it has succeeded.
Wongo’s “Paradise” is characterised through the use of a soft and seductive instrumental. The use of a muted bassline which melds effortlessly with San Mei’s velvety voice. The track paints a picture of heady escapism and a sun-drenched love affair.
“This is the first time I have collaborated with a fellow Gold Coast local. When I first heard San Mei, I had a feeling we would be able to come up with something special,” says Wongo of the creation of “Paradise.” “It’s a track that portrays our sunny hometown whilst staying true to the vibes of my production style.”
Not amiss to captivating crowds, before Wongo was moving crowds with music he was captivating them with his breakdancing ability. After leaving the dancefloor for the DJ decks, Wongo managed to catch the industry’s attention through his clean remixes of tracks by Beyonce and Azealia Banks.
Wongo is skyrocketing to the top. Stay tuned for more grooves soon. Wongo’s ‘Paradise (Feat. San Mei)’ is out now via Sweat It Out.
