We’re taking it back to 2003, when a young Chemical Brothers outfit took control of Australia’s pop queen Kylie Minogue for an acidic rework of her track ‘Slow’.
The British duo, who have become staple names in the electronic music world during their long tenure in the scene, manage to maintain Kylie’s sensual vocals on this remix while adding in their own heaving, club-ready flavour. If you can imagine hearing this out at 2am on a dance floor rammed with people, you can understand how big this would have been.
Understandably, this vintage cut saw a lot of play in the club scene upon its release 13-years ago, and today it is almost impossible to hunt down a vinyl press of the track. A damn shame really.
Thankfully we have the internet! Listen below and enjoy.
