Moss unleashes monstrous debut single ‘Lullabye’

Brisbane bass master Moss has unchained his monster of a debut single, Lullabye (feat. Akacia), and here at Stoney, it’s one of those tracks that has truly blown us away.

Two years back, Moss burst onto the scene with a wildly acclaimed flip of Alison Wonderland’s ‘U Don’t Know’. Alison Wonderland herself showcased the track in massive sets across the globe, such as Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Splendour in the Grass, and more. Since then, Moss has remained somewhat of an enigma on the production front, developing his sound and style whilst smashing through support slots with huge names such as Skrillex, RL Grime and Baauer and well…it’s really paid off!

Lullabye (feat Akacia) is a track that effortlessly intertwines two contrasting energies into one. Akacia’s delicate, echoing melodies are framed with sparkling piano chords, before the bass rolls in, eventually smothering every strand of light that there was. The drop is dark, with a pounding beat that smacks you right in the face, but the bass is the star of the show. It swells through highs and lows with a demonic aura. We’re not messing with you – you have to hear this drop for yourself.

This single showcases Moss’ storytelling skills as unparalleled, and he’s told us that this will be a constant in all his tracks to come. While he can’t reveal too much, this seriously impressive first single tells us that there’s a lot more to look forward to from Moss.

If you do one thing today, we recommend you jump on it ASAP, right below.
