LCD Soundsystem and Nick Murphy (FKA Chet Faker) set to embark on a mega AU & NZ tour

‘Moments like this – a sweaty, heaving mass, unified by song – are rare; that LCD Soundsystem provide so many of them is precisely why their return should be celebrated.’The Independent

After immediately selling out both Sydney and Melbourne dates earlier this year, Frontier Touring is thrilled to announce the return to of Brooklyn superstars LCD Soundsystem to Australia and New Zealand for their biggest headline tour ever!

Not to fear, LCD Soundsystem is not returning alone. OG Chet Faker AKA  Nick Murphy, will be returning for the massive shows! Huge!

Perhaps Nick Murphy has been chosen as support since his stage last name is the same as one of the founding members of LCD Soundsystem? Just a thought, don’t get lost in it.

Marking their return with fourth album American Dream (Columbia Records/DFA), the 10-track record is the first new music from LCD Soundsystem in a proper 7 years, landing their first ever number one debut on the US Billboard Albums Chart. With the core parameters of Murphy’s sound unchanged, American Dream strikes as a band changed by time and space, with roots leading back to their origins.

Nick Murphy shot to fame via 2012 EP Thinking Textures – released under his previous moniker of Chet Faker.  Murphy has performed forever sold-out shows in five continents, appearing at Coachella, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury, and Primavera, so pretty much all the major festivals.

He also performed on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, Boiler Room, and ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’. A huge addition to the live show, this is not one to miss!
