Watch Bonobo’s emotional music video for ‘Break Apart’

Bonobo has shared a loving music video for the track ‘Break apart’ featuring Rhye.

Released on his January album Migration‘, the lush single touches on the good and bad moments in a relationship, and now has a music video that reflects just that. The nearly 5-minute video gives a fly-on-the-wall effect as we watch several couples in their intimacy.

Speaking on the motive behind the video, director Spencer Greigh explains he “wanted to create the sensation that you, as the viewer, are somehow participating in voyeurism by watching the video.”

“There’s this great dichotomy that you experience watching the video where you’re simultaneously moved by watching these very authentic moments of true feeling and then this uneasy feeling that you’re invading their privacy.”

Watch the film clip below and be sure to catch Bonobo on the Laneway Festival tour next year.
