Netflix has released a Stranger Things game for your smart phone

Fans of the hit Netflix hit series, Stranger Things, have been given something to rejoice over before the second season drops, with Netflix releasing a pixel-art (8-bit) style Stranger Things game that is now available for free on both iOS and Android.

While BonusXP cop developers’ credentials, the game allows you to explore mysterious disappearances in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana and venture into the dreaded Upside Down.

Beginning as chief Jim Hopper, exploring the secretive Hawkins Lab in search of the missing boys, players are allowed to solve puzzles, play against friends, collect Ego waffles and play as either of the four main child characters.

Hot off the games press release comes news that the game may unlock “secret characters of exclusive, never-before-seen-footage-of-Season-2”

October 27 is not only the official date for the release of Season 2, but also, on the same day, a 16-piece orchestra is set to perform the entire Stranger Things soundtrack at Brixton Electric.
