Walker & Royce Team Up With Green Velvet in ‘Rub Anotha Dub’

Brooklyn’s Walker & Royce have been making moves for quite some time but their forthcoming album is shaping up to define the duo’s future. Landing October 20th on Dirtybird, the ‘Self-Help’ EP’s first track Take Me To Your Leader was an instant global hit.  The next tune makes the same impact as the boys grab the help of house legend Green Velvet for a crisp vocal and driving drum line. Shaping up to be one of the biggest dance floor albums of the year, this BK duo is set to influence the next wave of Gotham house.

You can’t truly be a house head until you’ve stood front and center while Green Velvet chants a dance floor anthem through the headphone input. It’s sort of a right of passage for America dance fans, and Walker & Royce have done it justice. Adding to timeless anthems like the Bigger Than Prince and Voicemail, Rub Anotha Dub is a clean cut anthem that makes nights.

With much more in store with the upcoming album, Walker & Royce’s powerful take on house fit right in with the Dirtybird team. Touring the tunes across the Europe and North America this fall, these two may be behind the decks near you. Stream the new single on Spotify, and hit follow for more W&R news.
