This tiny turntable plays cookies instead of vinyl

In a win for vegans, The Dimensions Plus agency was selected by Oreos Hong Kong to craft the Oreo Vinyl, a small-scale turntable that can play the specifically shaped cookies in record format.

Through engraving grooves on the surface of the cookie and including a baby record player in the packaging alongside the world famous sweet snack, the Oreo Vinyl Pack allows you to listen to four recomposed versions of the Oreo anthem covering: jazz, electronic, Chinese and classical.

Dimensions explained the process of creating the Oreo records: We wrote a program to transform the music into a pattern. After that, we make it into a laser-engraving friendly format and produce the mod for the Oreo Vinyl production”.
