It’s like new Daft Punk! Well not exactly, but one half of the French duo, Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo has teamed up with Charlotte Gainsbourg for her latest single ‘Rest’.

This soothing release comes ahead of Gainsbourg’s debut album, which funnily enough has been executively produced by Ed Banger veteran SebastiAn. It’s a French thing, obviously.

Before you get overly excited for a taste of new Daft Punk, let me just say that ‘Rest’ is not a banger, nor a dance track. However, if you enjoy some clean-cut production work then this might just hold you over while we all wait patiently for a new Daft Punk release. It’s coming one day, right?
