UZ reveals his 5 favourite Aus/NZ artists

After recently revealing his real identity and dropping his debut album, UZ has landed on our shores for a much anticipated Aus/NZ tour.

To celebrate the tour, we thought we’d pick UZ’s brain and see who he looks to out of our many talented up-and-coming producers as the pick of the crop.

Dive into his selections below.

Ian Munro

We released his first EP on Quality Goods records and all I can say is he’s been getting so much better over the last months, it’s incredible. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming up for him.

Oski & Hydraulix

I’ve been playing tracks by Hydraulix & Oski for years now, i love the way they have developed their own sound and how they re pushing it to the next level in each release. It’s a shame Oski’s on tour in the US while i’m touring in Australia but I’ll get to see Hydraulix this time 😉

Yvng Jalapeno

I love this kid, his music is really unique and original, definitely keep a eye out for him and keep an ear on his new single coming out on my label.

Avance

I played his remix/edit of M.A.A.D city by Kendrick Lamar for a very long time without knowing it was him and finally stumble across his SoundCloud. I really like his ideas and where he is going with his music.

Badrapper

First time I heard of him was by Quix, I since checked his music and talked to him via internet and can’t wait to hear more bangers from him

But there’s so many talent coming out of Australia and New Zealand, I could go on all day: TJR, Enschway, Luude, Twerl and many more!

You can catch UZ at The MET this Saturday for the start of his nationwide tour. See more on that here, as well as the full tour schedule below.
