The Return Of The ‘Big’ Festival Experience To Australia

It wasn’t long ago we thought the big, hefty music festival was extinct in Australia with Stereosonic, Future Music and Big Day Out pulling up stumps citing costs and competition from smaller, more agile players as to blame, but the script has been flipped in 2017 with a return of the giants to fertile lands.

Those include some long-standing international players such as Sensation and Creamfields along with returning names Electric Gardens and Hard Australia as well as two more new names that are looking to call Australia home.

Each is boasting tens of thousands of punters and stacked international lineups but who will be defiant and take the title of ‘best party ever?’.
