Melbourne has a new FREE party coming to the northern suburbs

A new party aimed at quality local and underground acts has been announced for its first edition this Saturday at Joey Smalls in Brunswick, titled Handshake Appeal.

It seems like Melbourne has an unending stream of quality underground parties, and this looks like no exception.

For their debut edition, Handshake Appeal sees locals Ossian, DJ Cooper, Stalks, and Miranda Warning take control of the wheels of steel from 6pm-late. Coming off the back of supporting Subjoi at Heavy earlier in the year, DJ Cooper looks to continue climbing the ranks within the Melbourne circuit. Similarly with Miranda Warning as she turned heads at the last Hocus Pocus party alongside the Salt Mines crew, unleashing a barrage of electro, acid and breaks.

Stalks and Ossian round out the lineup, with the former busying himself co-running the I’m Listening parties at the Gasometer and the latter a relatively fresh face in the scene and ready to make his mark.

This all kicks off at Joey Smalls in Brunswick this Saturday and is completely free! $5 tin special if you’re early too. Check out the event here.
