Deadmau5 was just one in a crowd of bidders racing to get their own bottle of Szechuan sauce, and despite losing the auction, managed to pull some strings to get some for a whopping $15,000.

The Canadian prodcuer – who just tied the knot (congrats!) – can now enjoy significant piece of modern-day memorabilia. The product has received a sudden wave of demand since the extremely popular Rick and Morty made use of the sauce, despite it being around for almost 20-years. The online bidder who connected with the mega producer over twitter was comic book writer (because, of course he is), Robert Workman. This is a collector’s must, so we really can’t blame him.

Priorities are a first for Joel, who replied to the offer on twitter by saying “I’m in, let me finish getting married and shit”. So this weekend has been nothing but wins for the legendary DJ, as the man became a husband and a Szechuan sauce owner in just two days.
