Straya is booming with electronic music goodness, and per capita I think it’s fair to say we churn out the best artists in the genre. Is that fair to say?

We’ve seen artists such as Flume, Alison Wonderland, What So Not, Nick Murphy and heaps more take the world by storm and rep’ our Aussie soil. Many of our artists have released incredible albums over the years but there are definitely a few cats laying low on the album front and we see you!

Here’s a list of some Aussie faves who really need to drop an album soon!

THE PRESETS

These guys are masters of writing catchy, banging dance hits and they are definitely well overdue for another album. The Presets are responsible for some of Australia’s biggest heaters such as My People, This Boy’s In Love, Girl And The Sea and Are You The One? Their last album Pacifica dropped 5 years ago and we want another album ASAP!

PENDULUM

Before they had split up in 2012, Perth group Pendulum were wiping the floors with their hard-hitting Drum & Bass tunes. The end of Pendulum created a wave of disappointment BUT they were welcomed back with open arms at Ultra Music Festival in Miami last year making their appearance an official return as a live act. Pendulum have released three studio albums since forming back in 2002 and now that they’ve made a comeback, we’re hoping the possibility of a fourth studio album is on the horizon.

PNAU

PNAU released a stellar single last year titled Chameleon but it’s been almost 6 years since their last album! PNAU also released Aussie anthems such as Embrace and Baby. Word on the street is that they have an album on the way but until then, let’s take a trip down memory lane with Embrace.

BAG RAIDERS

Their baby Shooting Stars is as old as their last album (7 years) and I don’t think we need to explain how badly they need to release another album.

ANNA LUNOE

The singer, songwriter, producer, DJ and soon-to-be baby mama hasn’t released an album (yet) but we’ve included Anna Lunoe in this list because if she was to drop an album, we know it would be pretty damn exceptional. She’s collaborated with a huge number of Electronic heavy-weights and even with a mini Lunoe in her belly, Anna Lunoe doesn’t stop grinding.

WAVE RACER

The Future Bass producer has made waves in our dance scene and released a bunch of impressive singles with top of the line production. If Wave Racer was to drop an album, it’d be as fun, quirky and charming as he is.
