Touch Sensitive shares retro visuals for ‘Lay Down’

Words by Patrick Marshal

As only Touch Sensitive can, he brings his signature swung groove to bass lines in his return single set to turn heads called ‘Lay Down’. With a music video iconic of many a Sydney based label Future Classic artist, it brings even more life to the track in a groove that will have you ready for more to come.

Lost Art create an atmosphere of imagery you could all too well envision yourself riding down the Los Angeles river in a 1970’s Chevrolet handing out tooth picks and with your windows well down. Working with the likes of the Avalanches, Love Deluxe, Apple Music and MTV, Lost art delivers on a thematically synced collection of images of Moog synthesizers, dated mobile phones and old television sets to meet the chapters of the track.

After taking Beatport by storm and the meeting the hype with the heavy releases of ‘Pizza Guy’ and ‘Slowments’, ‘Lay Down’ looks to propel the Sydney native back into the scene and into festival goers sights.

Recently touring as a support for music aficionados Baauer and Flume with his new release he can be found at Listenout this year and we are sure he will be busy with more events through the next few months, following this well received single.

Moog bass, sparse toms, synthwave synths, wispy percussion and pulsating smooth piano chord stabs makes this track something well worth putting on your daily Spotify rotation.
