Mother and son arrested for smuggling 7.5 kilos of ecstasy

Just when you thought the pigeon drug smuggler was cooked enough, a mother and her son have been caught with a whopping 7.5 kilos of ecstasy.

This odd family affair went down at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport upon their arrival from The Netherlands earlier in the week, when customs discovered over 100,000 pills in their luggage, estimating at around $430,000USD street value.

The 57-year-old woman and her 19-year-old were storing the pills in three, air tight bags that were found within the double wall of their suitcase. They were arrested – as you’d expect -and the court has held their arrest until this coming Tuesday.

Safe to say they’re in a spot of trouble. More on this as it unfolds.
