Maya Jane Coles is dropping her first album in 4-years!

When the multi talented London born Maya Jane Coles rightfully sustains the spotlight on her with her new EP “Won’t Let You Down”, it softened the wait for eager fans but increased the attention the upcoming album “Take Flight” is looking to receive on August 25th.

Within earshot of Bonobo and the likes of Burial from her debut album, you can expect bigger and bigger things from Maya Jane Coles in the forthcoming album as it has been described as “her most ambitious work to date”. Teasing a twenty-five track release, the album will undoubtedly be an audio pleasure for many a fan, which features artists such as Chelou, Wendy Rae Fowler and Rachel Butt.

She was the breakthrough artist of 2010 with her EP release on Franck Rogers and was the breakthrough artist of DJ Mag for the most play listed by Resident Advisor with the track “What They Say”, which she then was named the best newcomer for the same song that year. Mayas artistic influence is nothing to be slept on, with her previous releases going as far as to be remixed and sampled by artists such as Nicki Minaj, Drake and Bonobo.

Maya Jane Coles is a creative force to be reckoned with, and someone to keep a keen eye out for come August 25th when her album releases. Pre-order it here, and revisit one of her latest cuts below.
