Moving into his third season of residency at Mercury Rising, Pikes Hotel have appointed DJ Harvey as their Cultural Attaché, carrying the responsibility of promoting the culture of his homeland.

Harvey will be launching a new label titled Pikes Records and will be teaming up with the owners of Pikes Hotel and Ibiza Rocks.

“I see so many avenues to work together to release music, everything from live recordings from Ibiza Rocks and Pikes, mix tapes, original productions, showcasing new artists, there’s all sorts of avenues to open up,” said Harvey.

The first Pikes Records release will be a 12″ from Harvey himself. The record will be titled The Sound of Mercury Rising Compiled With Love and will be up for grabs on September 15th this year. DJ Harvey’s residency continues to run from Monday 7th August – 25th September at Pikes Hotel.
