Watch orchestra cover Daft Punk’s ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’

Words by Tanya Bonnie Rae

Daft Punk’s iconic ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’ gets an orchestral re-work, marking the song’s 16th year anniversary.

The Radio Dance Orchestra of Ehrenfeld (Germany’s Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld) recently performed a cover of the French electronic duo’s timeless ‘Harder Better Faster Stronger’. Since it’s initial release in 2001, a live version of the song was later recorded and won a Grammy award for Best Dance Recording in 2009.

The piece was performed by a 15-piece ensemble for the studio audience at the German late-night talk show Neo Magazin Royale. It shows the keyboard player using a tube connected to a Rocktron Talk Box (used to create the Daft Punk voice heard in the original).
