After an astounding debut album in 2016, Tourist has finally returned with new music int he way of ‘We Stayed Up All Night’.
The track, featuring Gloucestershire band Ardyn, shows a simpler, stripped-back approach to production from the UK-born producer, focusing mainly on a gentle percussion with some looping instrumental gestures popping up throughout that compliment Ardyn’s lush vocals.
Speaking on the motives behind this new single, Tourist wrote:
With this new music I wanted to make something that was more reflective of who I am now and how my life has changed over the past year. I moved out of my windowless studio and started writing from home again.
These forthcoming tracks are some of my favourite pieces of music I’ve written so far. Tourist will keep changing with each release and I’ve loved pushing the sound into a new place. Love you guys, Will x
