What a bloody choon. Everybody knows this one. It’s the track that you can’t help but know the lyrics to when it comes on. It’s the track you hear on the Jukebox when you walk into your local pub. It’s probably your go-to karaoke song. It’s topped off with a classic 2000’s video clip that features teens having the time of their lives.

Lady (Hear Me Tonight) is the debut single by French Duo Modjo, written and performed by vocalist Yann Destagnol and produced by Romain Tranchart. 

After the release of their single, the duo rose to fame with Lady (Hear Me Tonight) hitting the number one spot in the UK for two weeks. It became the 16th best-selling single of 2000! It also became a top 10 hit in thirteen countries while in the United States, the song peaked at number one on the Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

Sadly the Modjo stopped releasing music in 2003 but this song will live on forever.
