The Prodigy’s ‘The Fat Of The Land’ turns 20 this week!

It might be hard to believe for some, but The Prodigy’s monster album ‘The Fat of The Land’ is turning 20-years-old this Friday.

the album, released via XL Recordings, dropped on June 30th 1997, which is insane considering just how timeless the majority of this album is today.

Home to huge singles such as ‘Firestarter’, ‘Smack My Bitch Up’ and ‘Breathe’, this album helped push the English group into the mainstream, receiving global accolades and turning heads with their uniquely aggressive take of electronic music.

Clearly The Prodigy left an impression with this one, with the album having sold 10-million copies world-wide as of 2012. Not too shabby for an eclectic group of individuals.

Revisit this classic album in full below. What is your favourite cut from ‘The Fat Of The Land’?
