Nearly a year on from it’s anticipated vinyl release, the Stranger Things soundtrack is set to be released again but this time on cassette.

The brooding soundtrack – which was reissued as a deluxe vinyl package back in March – will be available on tape come July 14th, exclusively from Urban Outfitters in the US. Hopefully it makes it’s way down under.

The news comes a few months ahead of the popular Netflix Original series’ second season, which has locked in Halloween for it’s premiere episode. The brains behind the soundtrack – Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein of S U R V I V E – have also promised that season 2’s soundtrack will be much “darker and weirder” than the first. We’re in for some spooky tunes.
