As the title may suggest, this is pretty odd, but it’s another great example of the internet doing what it does best.

The quirky website Dood.al is home to something called the ‘Pink Trombone’, which, as they descibe, is “bare-handed speech synthesis”.

The page layout reflects the inner working of our nose and mouth, and looks like this:

It’s pretty simply to use, just click and drag anything you want and a slightly uncomfortable vocal sample will warp as you please. You can control the pitch as well… It gets pretty weird.
