Michigan born producer Shigeto has teamed up with his brother in launching a brand new record label under the name Portage Garage Sounds.

He took to Facebook today to announce the new imprint, that today sees it’s first official release in way of his own 2-track EP ‘Detroit part II‘.

This jazzy offering sees Shigeto build a soothing, romantic tone through the use of numerous instruments all merged together on top of a calm, house kick.

The EP is available as a 12″ vinyl record from the Portage Garage Sounds website now, and can be previewed below.
