Enigmatic producer Oneohtrix Point Never has won the prestigious Soundtrack Award at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival.

The soundtrack is for the film ‘Good Times’, Directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, which stars Robert Pattinson and Jennifer Jason Leigh.

From what we know thus far, the film is a dark, twisted thriller that is set in underground New York, so one can imagine what kind of soundtrack Daniel Lopatin (Oneohtrix) would have dished up for it.

According to Warp, Lopatin and Safdie become “close friends”during the production of the film, mainly due to their “shared love of cult genre movies and music”.
