Earl Jeffers Announces Australian Tour Dates

Words by Tanya Bonnie Rae

Formerly under the Chesus moniker, Cardiff-based producer Earl Jeffers has announced tour dates around Australia later this month.

Having released cuts for Doc Daneeka’s Ten Thousand Yen, Local Talk and Melange (his own imprint), the raw house connoisseur’s edit of Alicia Myer’s “I Want Your Love” grew steadily in popularity, with plays from the likes of Henry Wu, Skream, Kerri Chandler, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Mall Grab.

Encompassing a diverse range of musical styles from house, soul, disco, boogie and funk, Earl Jeffer’s DJ sets are inspired by years of crate digging and record collecting, resulting in an eclectic exploration of genres.

The tour kicks off on Sunday May 21st in Perth, and rounds up on Sunday May 28th with a free show at The Lord Gladstone.
