To get you through your mid-week blues, up and coming Berlin producer RIP Swirl dropped a Garage and 2-step influenced track called ‘Hi!’.

The 25-year-old producer – who recently released music under the monicker BIRTHDAY via Shlohmo‘s label WEDIDIT – has been steadily building his sound over the past year, releasing soothing, cuts such a ‘NO SYNC‘ and ‘Parisien‘ that have turned heads due to their lo-fi, brooding soundscapes; and this once again on show with ‘Hi!‘.

The up-beat dance track is not a hard-hitting club banger, in fact it’s quite the opposite. It has a laid-back dance feel to it and beautiful soaring chords pulsating in the background with punchy 2-step drums layered underneath.

‘Hi!’ is the first official release RIP Swirl‘s own imprint Swirl.FM, where we are expecting to see more releasing with that warm, fuzzy dance feel in the near future.
