Bass-Heavy Party ‘Frequencies’ Makes Its April Appearance This Saturday

Words by Maria Wang

Sydney-siders, clear your Saturday night plans because Frequencies is back at its staple Club 77 stomping ground — and it will be happening.

April’s edition makes for the fourth party this year and features a stacked and diverse lineup, set to please all palettes. Standouts include club queen Jade Le Flay returning home from tour, Honey Club founder Matka, and FBi dance class’s very own ZEFGIRLCLUBbut suss the full lineup listed below, it’ll further impress.

The monthly genre-free, bass-oriented night is a concept by Bassia Dinnen, who aims to give Sydney underground creatives an avenue to showcase their talent, and boy does it cover all bases. With live painting and video projection works on the night and multi-talent Tsuki‘s 3D event cover-art on promo duties, we’re spoilt.

Head honcho Bassia really lives up to her DJ alias BUSY. Her past projects with local collectives, previous work both in and with venues, and experience as booker, promoter and independent artist manager together serves to provide us with a fresh, relevant and unique offering for the Sydney party scene — a sample of Sydney’s potential.

Make sure you come early this Saturday 22nd to cop that FREE (rare) entry! But first, prep yourself up with this tasteful, high-energy mini-mix by BuckNite:
