He might be a household name now, but there was indeed a time when Calvin Harris was just a young Scott with big dreams. It was 2007 when his debut single Acceptable In The 80’s was injected into our lives, and I for one have been better off ever since.
Whether or not you are still a fan of his music today, Calvin’s debut album ‘I Created Disco‘ – which is coming up to 10-years old this year – is home to plenty of dance classics; however, it is Acceptable In The 80’s that, for me at least, really hit the spot. I vividly remember losing my shit when he played it at Big Day Out circa 2010 in the Boiler Room. Very fond memories.
