Remember that Spring Breakers movie that starred Selena Gomez, Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco and Gucci Mane? It’s now getting its own digital TV series and is expected to launch later this year.
The series is set to go live on a new digital platform called Blackpills. The movie’s original producers Fernando Sulichin and Chris Hanley will be jump in and get involved in the show however the film’s writer and director Harmony Korine has confirmed a no-go on his involvement.
[SPOILER] We’re not too sure what to expect from the show and with the two most memorable characters killed off in the movie (James Franco and Gucci Mane) we’re wondering how they’ll keep the momentum going with a TV series.
