For any Aphex Twin fan, or dance music fan in general, Windowlicker has got to go down as one of the best.

Officially released on March 22 1999 via Warp Records, this estranged but euphoric track has really stood the test of time. The heavy instrumental layering and warped soundscapes are not unlike what artists are making in the present day, which goes to show how ahead of his time Richard D. James really is.

Visually, the 10-minute music video for Windowlicker is weird as hell, but you can’t help but love it and you certainly can’t look away. That face still haunts me to this day.
