Sam Gellaitry fans rejoice! April 7 marks the day he reveals the final piece of his Escapism EP series.
The 19-year-old British producer paired this announcement with the first cut from the coming EP, the dreamy new track jungle waters.
Sam has come off the back of a huge 2016, turning heads with his abstract take on electronica and bass music, which has been recognised in his previous Escapism releases.
Speaking on the project, Sam explained he “always liked when people would compare my tracks to a story or a journey. It is something I’ve always strived for and I love imagining my fans getting lost in my tracks just as you would with a book or when exploring. I also feel that having an escape and something that takes your mind off the negativity in life is essential. When I realised that my escape would turn into what I do as a living, naming the project ‘Escapism’ only felt right.”
It looks like 2017 is going to be a another large year for the young producer, who already has a stacked tour schedule set for Spring that includes SXSW and Coachella festivals. Give jungle waters from the forthcoming EP a listen below, and pre-order Escapism III here.
