Princess Nokia is without a doubt one of the most exciting artists out of the underground hip-hop scene right now, and it’s been a long time coming.
However, the New York city based MC announced today that she is cancelling her debut Australian tour due to “health concerns”.
She writes: “Due to extreme exhaustion and health concerns from a hectic touring schedule I will be unable to make it to my shows in Australia. We are already working on new dates and I look forward to seeing all my fans in Australia this year.”
The tour, which was set to begin in March, was part of a long running world tour Destiny has been on following the release of her latest project ‘1992‘; a reminder that despite being often considered super-human, artists are still human beings who get run-down from working too hard.
Thankfully, she is hopeful that she will be returning to Australia in 2017, so keep an eye out. For now, lets watch her latest music video and feel sad that she couldn’t make it down under.
