Sydney’s wonder-duo McLean & Mai have released the first single from their sophomore EP release, titled Poleaxe.

Taking a slightly different route, of which the two detailed in their interview with us previously, the track incorporates heavy house elements and a glitchy, skittering main melody. In doing so, the two showcase their dynamic abilities as producers, as well as provide a thumping club tool. Utilising DX7 stabs, a belting kick, and crispy hats, the track is a cocktail for success, as well as an incredibly impressive first-showing since their 2015 EP Octo.
