Adelaide based Joint Ventures have forged together a new compilation of lo-fi, sample-based tracks that are certain to get you over your Monday blues.

The 25-song project titled ‘what’s gotten into willis?’ sees a long list of artists reworking classic hip-hop adlibs and repurposing them into a groove-heavy and hazy compilation.

Joint Ventures themselves put it best, explaining the offering as:

“Back from the deep & blunted as ever ~ JV002 ~ a mixture of characters & personalities coming together to make something cohesive. the aptly named ‘what’s gotten into willis?’ is a compilation of dusty lo-fi joints from the depths of our minds fed straight to your soul. concocted in Adelaide, Australia / Sicily, Italy.”
