Young Thug left us all feeling pretty devastated today in announcing he will be unable to perform at the forthcoming Laneway Festival.
The Atlanta rapper – who recently shared what is arguably one of the ">coolest music videos in existence – was reported to have canned the festival tour due to “complications with the visa process”, however an article by Highsnobiety earlier in the month suggests the artist will be joining Drake on his European tour which starts Jan 21. Why you gotta do us like that, Thug?
Sad news aside, Laneway are quick to fill the Thugger void, calling upon the Brissy boys Dune Rats to fill in. Here’s hoping Danny and BC will fill those shoes; I’m certain any Dune Rats fans will back us on the fact these blokes can put on a killer show.
Laneway are considerate to those who were only heading along to see Young Thug, however, sharing some refund info for punters who are feeling a little heartbroken today.
