QLD Liberal Party Want To Get Rid Of The Lock Out Laws

In light of an upcoming state election, Queensland opposition Liberal leader Tim Nicholls has shown some grit and come out against the impending Queensland lock out laws due to start February 1st.

The state’s ‘phase 2’ 1am lockouts that are meant to be introduced to Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, are on a knife edge while current Labor state leader Annastacia Palaszczuk considers a back flip.

The leader of the opposition has made his position clear by stating, ‘It’s time for the government to butt out. If Annastacia Palaszczuk doesn’t reverse this legislation … if elected we will’.

Keep Brisbane Open head rep Otis Noble has quoted to the Courier Mail that the current state government has made no attempt to consult with the industry after the first round of measures were introduced on July 1 last year.

Man I’m confused. NSW Liberal’s are pro lockout, QLD Liberal’s are anti lockout?

what-does-this-mean

Ah election time.
