If you follow the Australian electronic music scene, then its pretty certain that you’ve heard of Pitch Music & Arts Festival. Local promoter’s Novel and Beyond The Valley have combined their might to put together what looks to be one of the best line-ups of electronic music that we’ve ever seen down here.

Pitch has run a good social media campaign thus far as they have slowly built the tension from their mysterious birth until the point of releasing their lineup. It’s safe to say that the hype is very much there. I for one cannot wait until artists such as Donato Dozzy, Ben Klock, Rødhåd, Dixon, Âme and many other blow our collective heads off come mid March.

To continue the hype, Pitch has recently announced the location for the festival.

They write: “Our beautiful festival home is situated near the town of Mafeking, a Victorian town rich in history. This lush location is awash with blue gums and golden meadows. Under the watchful gaze of the National Heritage listed Grampians Mountain Range, there really is no home more becoming of our festival . We’re very thankful to Martang, the traditional owners of the land as well as the local communities of Mafeking, Moyston, Willaura and Ararat for welcoming us with open arms”.
