Lobster Theremin Open First Official Record Store This Week

As one of the most loved labels doing it at the moment, it comes as no real surprise that Jimmy Asquith’s Lobster Theremin is opening it’s own record store in London town.

The label, that has hosted the likes of S Olbricht, Hidden Spheres, DJ Seinfeld, and Australia’s own Daze, has been steadily building over the past few years, hosting parties all over the place – including down under – and will now be solidifying their subtle dominance with a shop front on Sidworth Street in London Fields.

The store will be home to hundreds of Lobster Distribution labels, as well as “an array of tapes, merch, zines and bits and bobs.” The build of the store will include a record wall, 4 listening stations and a 60-tape rack with a Sony tape deck. Locals will also be able to pick up online orders from the store, which is a little bit handy.

The Lobster Records store will be open to the public from Jan 24. Check their Facebook for further info.
