LGBTQ Activists Are Throwing A Dance Party Outside Mike Pence’s Home

The Vice President-elect of the United States Mike Pence will be having a very interesting week, and it’s not because of his Inauguration.

Queer activist group WERK have organised a dance party to go down outside his Maryland home on the night of Jan 18 (tomorrow), ahead of the Inauguration ceremony, in response to his anti-LGBTQ policy making history.

For those unaware, he’s the guy who thinks you can electrically shock the queer out of someone… Yeah it’s THAT messed up.

Vice reported on the coming party earlier in the week, and spoke with WERK to get some more insight what we can expect. “We plan on leaving behind (biodegradable) glitter and rainbow paraphernalia that he can NEVER forget” they said.

If you’re in the States and want to get along to this – which you should – you can find out more info on their Facebook event or website.
