Discover Daft Punk’s Early Musical Influences With This Giant Playlist

On Friday, Jan 20, Daft Punk’s debut album ‘Homework’ celebrated it’s 20 year anniversary. Insane right? The album was revolutionary for electronic music, home to dance floor anthems such as Da Funk, Around The World and Alive to name just a few, and both FACT magazine and a super fan have tipped their hat’s to the robot’s musical influences for the album by spawning a couple of compilations, and they’re as good as you’d imagine.

The playlist was built up by a fellow named C.K, a Daft Punk fan who sourced legit hundreds of tracks from the archives that the French duo found inspiration from. The same goes for FACT Mag, who have made a 1-hour and 20-minute long mix of tracks, similar to the playlist, and aptly titled the same; ‘Teachers’.

Both the playlist and mix are featured below, along with the track list for the mix. Dive in!

‘Teachers’ Playlist by C.K.
