After a lot of teasing, the anticipated collaboration between RL Grime, What So Not and Skrillex is upon us.

The track, titled ‘Waiting’, was teased earlier in the week on the three artists’ social media platforms, sending us fans into a craze – naturally. The final result certainly does justice to what these names would promise. It’s big, loud, fast and chock-full of bass. As it should be.

If the first 40-seconds of this track doesn’t get your your heart racing to the point of worry, then you should actually be worried.

After a very healthy first half, ‘Waiting’ takes the tone down a notch (at around the 2-minute mark), with some tribal-sounding sampling and lush instrumental work. This then swiftly back up into the bass-hungry monster it needs to be.
