After the successful release of their standout singles Superficial Light and Pattern earlier this year, NSW North-Coast duo Nocturnal Tapes returned with a new darker and moody track titled Pieces a couple of months ago.

Now, the duo have dropped the official video clip and it’s certainly matches the music. Pieces hints tech-house influences and inspiration from respectable artists like The Presets and LCD Soundsystem. This upbeat and catchy track points the duo’s creative abilities to a different path while still keeping their songwriting and approach intact.

The music video for Pieces is dark and brooding, much like the track itself, depicting emotive clips from the the view of a man and woman who are fighting to find one another. The fast, sharp editing of the footage perfectly encapsulates the emotive nature of the track, created an almost hypnotic experience for the viewer.
