Motor City Drum Ensemble & Marcus Worgull Return As Vermont With New Track & Album Details

While many may know Motor City Drum Ensemble, real name Danilo Plessow, for his mixes full of groovy house and disco cuts, they might be less familiar with his side project Vermont with label-mate Marcus Worgull.

Vermont’s music is a project that they both use to create music that’s incredibly different to what they usually mix and produce. It’s slow, subtle, and creates a huge feeling of environment and space. With the last piece of Vermont’s material being their self-titled record that released in 2014, today the duo have announced their next record, simply titled ‘II’, will release on February 10.

They’ve also given us the tracklisting, and the first cut from the record too – happy days. It’s called Norderney, and goes even further than Vermont has gone before in creating a sense of space and emotion so well. Take a listen, hopefully it’ll tie us over before we get more.
