FBi Radio Announce Nominees For Their 2016 SMAC Awards

For the past seven years, champions of new music and local talent FBi Radio have taken that championing to new levels with their FBi Sydney Music, Arts & Culture (SMAC) Awards.

It’s all about celebrating Sydney’s best in over 10 categories, including ‘Record of the Year’, ‘Next Big Thing’, ‘Best Music Event’ and way more. There’s also a special SMAC of the Year given to an individual who’s made a big contribution to the culture of Sydney as a whole.

Voting has just opened, and closes on December 20th at 5pm. As with all things FBi does, there’s also a party going along with it. While it is invite only, voting puts you into the draw to win a double pass to the award ceremony. There’ll be performances by a bunch of SMAC nominees, including Julia Jacklin, L-Fresh The Lion and Middle Kids.

So check all the categories and a recap of last year below, smash that button, vote for your favourites, go into the draw, and support an institution which is always so supporting of others.
