After the anticipated collaboration ‘Starboy‘ dropped last month, The Weeknd has confirmed there is more on the way with himself and Daft Punk.
Speaking with The Wall Street Journal during the week, The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye) spoke on the creative process of the Parisian duo, as well as detailing their studio and dropping the exciting news that two songs were conceived during their time together.
“The remarkably spontaneous sessions yielded two songs on the album,” The Weekend explained.
Their first release together – the title track of Tesfaye’s forthcoming album – received some mixed reviews when it dropped, however that is to be expected when titans collide in the studio.
But if there is one thing that both The Weeknd and the robots can certainly do, it’s turn some heads. Here’s hoping their coming release is as huge as the first.
The Weeknd’s third studio album ‘Starboy’ is set to drop on November 25. Revisit the lead track with Daft Punk below.
